From our family to yours, our wish for you is that 2012 is filled with blessings! The past year has been full of challenges, joys, and so so much to be thankful for. At church this morning we reflected on Genesis 3 - the fall into sin ... and the great promise of the coming of Jesus. The fall reminds me that we have so much to be thankful for around us, just as Adam and Eve did in the garden, and yet we always want more, we are always not quite content with what we already have. I am not one to make "resolutions" per se, but I plan to make a conscious effort in the coming year to truly reflect on the blessings in our lives and not always on what we want or don't quite have.
I didn't have a chance this year to put together Christmas cards - I'm still toying with the idea of a New Year's greeting in the coming weeks but we'll see what happens. It might go out in the form of an email instead of traditional mail, if I can get to it at all :) Please know, though, that we hold all of our family and friends near to our hearts and wish everyone of you rich blessings throughout the coming year - 2012!
