For Kristina's GEMS girls club registration tonight we were told to dress up a superhero duo (moms and daughters). So we headed off to the thrift shop and found some blue, green, and white striped fabric that reminded us of our dear Canucks hockey team and set to work building our costumes over the next few days. With the help of a little ribbon, extra blue fabric (for the arms), some glitter glue, lots of hot glue (we glued it all, none of it is sewn) and a lot of creativity we came up with our costumes! And we even won a prize for them :) We had such a great time making these and a hoot at the GEMS tonight - we played a bunch of games including flying dutchmen and leap frog - too fun! Here we are sporting our costumes.
