Busy Summer!

The cherries are ready and we picked a whole lot of cherries yesterday! I'm currently in the process of canning 24 cups of Cherry Pie Filling and I have 3 large containers of cherries that are perfect for eating in the fridge! Plus both of our neighbours took ladders up the tree and picked a bunch too!

Brant has an opportunity to attend a special phsyical therapy summer day camp in August at Cultus Lake (unfortunately it is the same week as the Devries reunion :( ) and has been given a scholarship to attend since it wasn't funded by our At Home Funding. He will also be starting private Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy once a week in August that is fully funded through the At Home Program which I am very excited about! Hopefully the extra therapies will give him that edge he needs to be successful in Kindergarten next year!

We are having a nice lazy summer. Thankfully Brant's pneumonia and strep throat are gone now. Kristina is driving me a little crazy but that's ok :) She is one of those kids that doesn't stop making noise all day - whether singing or humming or talking or tapping. She has been having fun playing "teacher" at "school" with the boys and doing lots of crafts. And Owen is into everything like a typical 2 year old boy. He still loves hockey but has found a new summer love - FOOTBALL!! You should hear how he says it, kind of in a low growly "Tim the toolman Taylor" kind of voice - very funny!

Well I better get back to my canning and bowmaking! I have a bow order that has to be ready today (I've been making bows to sell, you can see them here: www.dipsydaisy.blogspot.com)

Hope everyone is having a great summer!!!

MMM Cherries!! Sounds like good times. Chanelle and Kristina are 2 peas in a pod. I have a rule for in the car and that is Chanelle is not allowed to talk LOL Drives me nuts!!
I am not sure if you know Renee but her daughter Kennedy just had the AAI surgery and has a Halo. She hasn't been released from the hospital yet. Maybe you could go by her blog I think she could use a BTDT Mom to help her out. http://www.myspecialks.com/
Hope you continue having a great Summer. I want to buy some of your bows!!!
